She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Streety and Jeanette Schultz Streety; her husband Curtis Wayne Modlin; and her grandparents, David, Delma Streety, Henry and Viola Schultz.
She is survived by: her son Hugh; and her siblings, Diane Johnson of Austin and Robert L. Streety (Hilda) of West Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (308 E 3rd St, Nixon, TX 78140). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bundick Cemetery (865 US Hwy 87 Smiley, Texas 78159).
