He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionicio Aguilar and Santos Hinojosa; his wife Maria Aguilar; his son Juan "Johnny" Aguilar; and his siblings, Dionicio Aguilar Jr., Leonardo Aguilar, Maria Olivarez, Aurora Hernandez and Maria Anita Aguilar.
He is survived by: his children, Emma Longoria (Joe), Lupe Aguilar (Ella), Matilda Aguilar, Billy Aguilar (Jacqueline), Soila Diaz (Moses), Olga Miller (Jeff), Mary Castro (Johnny), Nancy Torres (Tommy), Domingo Aguilar (Jeanette), Lille Briones (Jeff), Santos Salas (Raul) and Rachel Lara (Longino); his siblings, Antonia Ramirez and Ermilo Aguilar; and his daughter-in-law Toni Aguilar. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 106 great grandchildren, and 39 great- great grandchildren.
