She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodrigo Vasquez and Vicenta Vela Vasquez (Vela); her husband Johnny P. Esparza; and her brother Rodrigo Vasquez, Jr. (Genoveva). She is survived by: her children, Tania Esparza, Troy Esparza (Andrea), Alexandrea "Alex" Altamirano, Jimmie Zapata and Daniel Ybarra; her grandchildren, Jeric Esparza, Jaden Esparza, Alyssa Zapata, Aimee Zapata, Aiden Ybarra and Arabella Ybarra; and her brothers, Luciano Vasquez (Josie) and Hector Vasquez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
