He is survived by: his mother Lois Garner (Brown); his sisters, Cyndi Garner (Kambi) of Centennial and Rebecca Chou (Shuo) of Santa Monica, California; his stepmother Merry Garner of Argyle; and his brother Jon David Beets of San Antonio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
