He was predeceased by: his brother Kirby Whitaker; his grandparents, Mack, Betty Fry and Eloise Moore; and his uncle Mickey Fry.
He is survived by: his parents, Danny Paul Whitaker and Sandra Whitaker Moody; his wife Kim Browning; his son Danny Mack Whitaker (Chelsea); his sister Misty Williams; his stepmother Junis Whitaker; his stepsiblings, Boyce Pate (Tasha), Travis Simons (Pam) and Chanda Tobin (Steve); and his grandchildren, Laityn, Carsten, Christian, Cambree and Brody.
