He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Lawson and Margaret Bish; his daughters, Janet McLain, Diahanna Short (Brian), Connie Cantrell (Scott), Rhonda Gilliland and Christa Womack; his grandchildren, Jessica Reese, Julie Harrison, Tyler McLain, Ashley McLain, Courtney Rainwater (Ti), Ernie Cantrell (Lottie), Samatha Reed (Matt) and Skylor Womack; his great grandchildren, Senior Airman Chandler Hughes (Mercedes), Garrett, Ella Darden, Emma, Adyson, Raylee Cantrell, Owen Green, Lucas, Porter Reed and Hudson Rainwater; his great great grandchildren, Dorian and Levi Hughes; his niece Jill Cascaden (Chris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie, Katelynn and Alexa of Jenera, Ohio; his wife Alice Lawson; his son David T. Lawson; his grandmother Ruth Bish; and his sister Bonnie Schroen.
