With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Griffin of Rule, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lee and Betrue Vanderbilt; and her siblings, Eugene Vanderbilt, Clemmie Louis and Dorothy Thompson (Holden Glenn Griffin).
She is survived by: her nephews, Alvin Louis (Boo) and Eugene Vanderbilt Jr. (Vandy); her children, Glendale Vanderbilt (Lolly) of Rule, Evone LaCombe (Dave) of Willows, Keith Vanderbilt, Richard Vanderbilt of Rule, Tomika Griffin (Mike) of Abilene and Khalilah Mason of Rule; and her grandchild KyLeik. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
