Pope and Bethel Pope (Harrod); his former wife Lexine Davies Pope; his wife Wanda Williams Colvin Pope; his children, Ina Beth Pope Barnwell and Jeffrey Mark Pope; his granddaughter April Dawn Barnwell Smith; and his sisters, Shannon Pope Fewell and Hilda Pope Thornton.
He is survived by: his son Richard Wayne Pope (Denise); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Barrett Pope (Christine), Christopher David Pope (Kimberly), Jordan Taylor Pope (Jana), Amy Elizabeth Barnwell Beck (Warren) and Jessica Frances Pope Hatton (Michael); his great grandchildren, Sydney Rene Pope, Jeff Wyatt Pope, Taylor Leigh Pope, Ella Christine Pope, Noah Isabella Pope, Frank Jacob Upchurch and Ava Claire Upchurch; and his sister Joy Pope Mann.
