It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Otis Jr. of Royse City, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, James Lee Otis Sr. and Gloria Otis (Reed) of Royse City, TX; his daughters, Cameo Williams, Aryanna Otis, Allyson Otis and Brooklyn Otis; his stepchildren, Desmond Mapps, Marquetta Mapps, Charity Mapps, Laticia Mapps, Jamal Pryor and Jameek Pryor; his granddaughter Savira Perkins; and his siblings, Ingrid Otis of Fate, TX, Elvira Otis-Day of Ceder Hill, TX and Ditannon Otis (Atlin) of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
