It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mae Selman of Royse City, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baptist and Georgia Ann Bully (Robinson); her husband Jimmy Durwood Selman; her daughter Terri Lynn Selman; her siblings, Willie Walley and Dorothy Knight; and her great grandchild Miles Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Hopman (Richard) of Royse City, Brenda Pallares of Fate, Garry Selman of Gatesville and Allan Selman of Rowlett; her sister Pamela James of Calera; her grandchildren, Nicholas Scott Kohler of Forney, Kaitlyn Nicole Pallares of Fate, Kelcie Brennae Hopman of Royse City and Olivia Rose Selman of Beeville, Texas; and her great grandchild Blair Avery Martinez of Beeville, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087).
