He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Bumpass (Douthit) and Dana David Bumpass; and his wife Mary Ruth Bumpass (Tiddles). He is survived by: his children, Brad Bumpass (Crystal) and Laurel Bumpass; his granddaughters, Rheagan White and Charlie White; his nephew Lt. Colonel Danny Oglesby (Cholly); his niece Dr. Mandy Oglesby (Griffin Rooker); his great-nieces, Sarah, Grace and Lilly; his great-nephew Jake; and his sister-in-law Bobbie "Tinker" Gardner (Keith).
