He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosser Earl Mason and Clyde Smith Mason; the mother of his children Dorothy Lou Fox Mason of Paris; and his wife Linda Kay Ozment Mason. He is survived by: his children, David Mason of Granbury, Texas, Danny Mason of Allen, Texas, Ross Mason of Austin, Texas, Linda Mason Helms (Bruce) of Georgetown, Texas and Anna Mason Soneff (Greg) of Denver, Colorado.; his stepsister Emily Jolly Mason O'Connor (Gary) of Powderly; his sister-in-law Melverne Ozment; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Ozment Venable and Tracy Ozment McQueary. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, a step-granddaughter, 4 great grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, several in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews, and lots of friends.
