It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Helms of Roxton, Texas, born in Honey Grove, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George McDowell and Nora Hudgens McDowell; her husband Lloyd Helms; her granddaughter Hannah Weiberg; and her brothers, Bill, Scott, Forrest, Aubrey and Glenn McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Bramlett (Larry), Robert Helms, Elaine Niblett (Hal) and Paul Helms (Kecia); and her grandchildren, Angie Love (Chris), Misty Essary (Randy), David Niblett (Amanda), Zach Philpot (Brittany), Madison Stout (Rob) and Jaycie Cazzell. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
