He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eldon Slayden and Hassie Slayden; his wife Donna Slayden; and his children, Paul (Janet Slayden), Lori (David Holy), Mark Carr of Pittsburgh, Billy Robinson of Paris and Chad (Cindy Robinson). He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and one great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southside Baptist Church in Charles' memory.
