He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Bryant and Ernest Bryant; and his sister Lola Putnam. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Bryant; his daughter Brenda Beggs (Joe); his grandchildren, Scott, Jodi, Kelli and Katie; his son Rusty (Missy); his grandchildren, Kyle and Marshall; his daughters, Kathena and Lisa Olsen (Bill); his grandchildren, Jillian and Shelby; and his great grandchild Natalie.
He served on the board of the Gerald Walker Foundation, contributing countless hours and resources to the organization that honored a fallen Garland police officer and provided scholarships for students in Garland ISD.
