It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Schafroth of Rowlett, Texas, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus L. Richards and Grace Richards (Russell); her husband David Schafroth; her granddaughter-in-law Ashley; and her sister Grace Helen.
She is survived by: her family, Lisa Deann and Robyn Michelle; her children, Lisa Sooter of Dallas, Robyn Midkiff (Joe) of Garland and Jacob Schafroth (Nakia) of Plano; her grandchildren, Brian Sooter, Lily Sooter and Claire Sooter of Dallas; her great grandchild Stella Sooter of Dallas; and her sister Mary Stansell of Mt. Pleasant.
Donations will be split between the Snow Hill Cemetery Association and a scholarship fund to support needy elementary students.
