He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Anderson Baker and Andy Frank Baker; and his brothers, James and Frank. He is survived by: his children, Bart Baker (Kathy), Penny Baker Martin (Lawrence) and Brett Baker; his brother Don Baker (Paula); his grandchildren, Tiffany Shortridge, Rebekah Baker Jaeschke, Robert Baker, Dustin Paul Baker, Chase Baker and Gramm Baker; and his wife Georgia. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
