He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Paaske and Eleanor Paaske; his brothers, Herbert Paaske (Joyce) and Ronald Paaske (Sally); and his sister-in-law Corinne Paaske.
He is survived by: his brother Frank; his sister-in-law Cathy Paaske; his brother Dennis Paaske (Brown Swiss); his nieces and nephews, Sheri Massey (Jonah) and Michele Baptiste (Rene Leal); his grandchildren, Kelsey Lester (Trey), Jadie Massey, Reagan Massey, Alex Peek (Shateria), Bradley Peek and Brooke Peek (Charles Cotton); and his great grandchildren, Karson Lester, Kash Lester, Za'ykaylin Porter, Alex Peek and Camden Cotton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
