She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Linden Carter and Lottie Pauline Carter; and her siblings, George Carter, Doug Carter, Roy Carter, Linda Gilley and Rick Carter.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Hannah Jo; her husband Willard "Tommy" Thompson; her daughter Tiffany Steele (Greg); her grandchildren, Erik Linden Steele and Hannah Jo Steele; and her sisters, Joyce McCorkle (Bob) and Paulette Collins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
