He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Wayne Jones and Patricia Jones (Carroll); his wife Sharon Jones (Pogue); his children, Kenneth Jones, Kevin Jones (Brittany), Kerry Jones, Melissa Jones and Austin Jones; his grandson Kaleb Jones; his siblings, Michael Jones (Debbie), Catherine McMullen, Nancy Wingerter (Robert), Kevin Jones (Dana), Janet Schaad (Bill), Mary Jones and Tracy McCarty (Dave); his father-in-law William Pogue (Corma); and his sister-in-law Sonja Trent. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, friends.
