He was predeceased by: his son Joe Richard Guzman; his parents, Alfonzo Sr. Guzman and Herlinda M. Guzman; his siblings, Angel Mario Guzman Sr., Francisco Guzman, Ana Maria Garza (Joe) and Maria Inez DeLeon (Anselmo); his brother-in-law Claro Trevino; and his nephew Angel Mario Guzman Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mattie Howland; his son Keith Guzman of Seattle; and his siblings, Robert (Sylvia Guzman) of Sachse, Alex (Mary Guzman) of Irving, Alfonzo Jr. (Esmeralda Guzman) of Rowlett, Frances Trevino of Rowlett and Cora (Carlos Leal) of Mesquite. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
