He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Nathaniel and Dale Elizabeth Scoggins (Fair); his wife Janet Scoggins; his children, Jerry Scoggins (Jody), Dale Scoggins, Julie Hortman (Jason) and Brian Toleos (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kyle Patrick, Hillary Justine, Jerry Jr., Sophie Isabelle, Lauryn Scoggins, Cameron, Ethan, Sabrina Adams, Justin Toleos, Brandon, Reece Ross, Lauren and Matthew Hortman; and his great grandchildren, Neveah, Levii, Ellis and Avory.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rowlett (3701 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
