He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Carlson (Belverstone) and Robert Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Akemi Carlson; his sons, Robert Carlson (Alicia), Jeffrey Carlson (Doris) and Scott Carlson (Windy); his grandchildren, Ajani, Amodi, Adrian, Gabriel, Alexandria, William and Michael; his great grandchildren, Keenan and Amari; and his sisters, Donna Mathern and Cheryl Cunningham.
