He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Tilman and Lena Mae Jolley; his wife Veta Nell; his sister Geneva; and his grandsons, Gabriel Enoch and Ed Agustín.
He is survived by: his sons, James (Delfa), Glen (Gracie) and Joel (Angela); his grandchildren, Adrian, Samuel (Wendy), Matthew, Kevin, Elizabeth and Abigail (Bryan); and his great grandchildren, Madeline and Lilliana.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (610 S Goliad St, Rockwall, TX 75087). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Mission Board in his memory.
