He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Ryner and Betty Ryner (Caldwell); and his siblings, Robert Ryner and Janet Ryner. He is survived by: his wife Mindy Ryner; his children, Stephanie West (Jacob), Michael Ryner, Courtney Redmond (Joshua), Alisha Clevenger, Nathaniel Ryner and Anthony Ryner; and his brothers, Frank Ryner (Virginia), Richard Ryner (Glenda), Lawrence Ryner (Joan) and David Ryner (Suzanne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews.
