He is survived by: his parents, James Burie and Mary Nettie Adkison (Sutley); his wife Carolyn Adkinson of Rowlett; his children, Deborah Thompson (Jeff) of Rowlett, Jeffrey Adkinson of Coppell, TX and David Adkinson of Arlington, TX; and his sister Jeanette Harrison of New Brockton, AL. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
