She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hawkins and Estelle Barnhill Hawkins; her husband Elton Dee Brown; her grandson Riley Wade Brown; her great grandchild Leddy Dell Davis; and her siblings, Jackie Hawkins, Marlon Hawkins and Betty Hawkins Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Brown Penney of Garland, Dan Brown (Paula) of Sulphur Springs and Pete Brown (Terri) of Naples; her grandchildren, Jason Penney (Angie) of Grapevine, Matt Brown (Shannon) of Sherman, Zane Brown (Brittany) of Lindale, Alissa Davis (Jake) of Wolfe City and Kaylee Holloway (Cody) of Cason, Texas; her great grandchildren, Reid, Rhyan, Rhett Brown, Zoey Brown, Cade, Cullen Davis, Hatley and Adaley Holloway; and her sisters, Mary Hensley of New Boston, Texas and Carol Gauntt of Maud, Texas. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
