She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Avila and Modesta Avila (Vargas); her husband Leandro Martinez; her siblings, Maria Martinez, Juanita Zepeda, Luis Avila, Rosenda Avila, Lupe Avila, Pedro Avila, Juan Avila and Veto Avila (Alberto); and her grandson Andro Pete Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita M. Garcia (Herminio) of Plano, Rosa Martinez of Garland, Maria Kamphouse (Bob) of Rowlett, Jose Alberto Martinez (Esther) of McKinney, Molly Salcido (Manuel) of Houston, Alicia Martinez, Rick Mendoza of Garland, Dody Nieto (Arthur) of Dallas and Andrea Dugick (Jerry) of Richardson, Texas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild on the way; and lots of nieces and nephews.
