Vernon Hoelscher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Hoelscher (Rowena, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vernon Hoelscher to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joachim Hoelscher (Jake) and Elsie Hoelscher (Halfmann); his siblings, Daniel, Dutch (Jerome), Anita, Jim (Kenneth) and Nick (Gerald); his in-laws, Ben J. and Sarah Halfmann; his son-in-law Charlie Williams; and his grandchildren, Monica, Wade Parramore and Wayne Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Cornell Halfmann; his children, Christine Parramore (John), Howard, Bryan Hoelscher, Darla Williams, June Hoelscher and Russell Hoelscher (Sandra); his grandchildren, Briana, Victoria, Alex of Julia, TJ, Crystal, Rachel, Ashton, Jacob, Stephanie, Zach and Connor; and his brother Pat (Virgil). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (1118 Co Rd 234, Rowena, TX 76875). A Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Boniface Cemetery Fund in Olfen, in Vernon's honor.
