She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Sturm (Pelzel) and Paul Sturm; her siblings, Josephine Schwertner, Elizabeth Sturm, Tillie Piel, Louise Schwertner, Mary Angelina Sturm, Helen Matthiesen, Florine Kellermeier, Julia Rohmfeld, Emma Kruppa, Frieda Janca, Richard, Fred, Louis and Henry Sturm; and her son-in-law Joe Hodge, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Andrew F. Schwertner; her children, Andy Schwertner (Dolores), Janet Hodge and Rita Moeller (David); her sisters, Patsy Rohmfeld, Dorine Matthiesen and Lorene Cmerek; and her sister-in-law Rosalie Sturm. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winter's Volunteer Fire Department in Rosie's honor or to a charity of choice.
