She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lange and Isabella Lange (Dierschke); her husband Hilmer Frank Schaefer; her granddaughter Annika Knutson; and her siblings, Elaine Pelzel, Bernice Gully, Edna Schaefer and David Lange.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schaefer (Jeanne) of San Antonio, Gary Schaefer (Tami) of San Angelo, Donna Kruse (David) of Hanover, KS, Susan Schumacher (Gene) of Gainesville, Connie Case (Craig) of Waxahachie, Joan Schwartz (John) of Wall and Lori Knutson (Eric) of Rowena; her brother Andrew Lange (Helen) of Rowena; and her sister-in-law Pat Lange Kvapil. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to the St. Joseph. Special Projects Fund or a favorite charity.
