He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Beimer and Cordula Beimer (Moeller); his brother Daniel Beimer; and his nephew Howard Beimer, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Adonna Wilde; his children, Reneé Hatler (Jim) and Eric (Caryl Beimer); his grandchildren, Mason Beimer, Abbey Hatler and Chayse Beimer; his brothers, Glen Beimer and Howard Beimer (Denise); and his sister-in-law Martha Beimer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph cemetery fund or the Rowena Volunteer Fire Department in Leon's honor.
