He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Halfmann and Alice Schrade Halfmann; and his brothers-in-law, Erwin Kleypas, Jerry Bolen and Earl Koenning.
He is survived by: his wife Waldeen Koenning; his children, Stephen Halfmann (Michele) of Miles, Janna Price (Jeremy) of Franklin, Deanna Faubion (Brian) of Miles and Laura Parks (Cody) of Lawn; his grandchildren, Justin Halfmann of San Angelo, Troy Halfmann (Hannah) of Bay City, Leah Ray (Hayden) of Rowena, Jada Ennis (Micah) of Willis, Megan Wilson (Joel) of Wheelock, Avery, Ryan, Olivia, Porter, Liam Faubion of Miles, Oliver, Evelyn and Maverick of Lawn; and his great grandchildren, Theodore Ennis and Emry Halfmann.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pregnancy Help Center of San Angelo, Meals for the Elderly, or a charity of choice in Hilmer's honor.
