He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Weinert and Flora Weinert (Meyer); his spouse Karel Hinze; his father-in-law Wayland; his sister Bernice; and his siblings-in-law, Elwood Hackemack and Jessie Weinert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry (Robert Whitmarsh) and Shelly (Daniel Pietsch); his granddaughters, Elyse, Ariana Whitmarsh, Kalie and Kyla Pietsch; and his brother Elroy Weinert (Joyce Boeker) of Grapeland.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Hospice of Brazos Valley, or Round Top-Warrenton Volunteer Fire Department.
