He is survived by: his sons, Marvin Sommerfeld (Gwyn) of Dripping Springs and Mike Sommerfeld (Julie) of West Point, Texas; his grandchildren, Lauren Preston (Kevin), Kyle Sommerfeld (Yesenia), Carson Sommerfeld, Brandon Sommerfeld, Brooklyn Sommerfeld (Mark Smolka) and Layton Sommerfeld; his great grandchildren, Keeley Preston and Nihan Sommerfeld; and his nephew Danny Gerik (Lisa).
