She was predeceased by: her father Ernest R. Anderson; her husband Wilbur Munson of Georgetown; her parent Mancy Stark Anderson (Stark); her sister Laura Homeyer; and her grandson Patrick Elliott.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Munson (Peggy) of Round Rock and Vernelle Elliott of Austin; her grandchildren, Lisa Cobb (Jason) of Austin, Holly Hill (Shane) of Needville and Collin Munson (Caty) of Pflugerville; her great grandchildren, Nora, Byron Cobb, Tyce, Haven, Jaylin Hill, Devin and Zoey Munson; and her sister Gladys Johnson. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Memorials may be made in Thelma's name to St. John's United Methodist Church.
