She is survived by: her siblings, Debbie (Mark Bentley) of Lake and John Queen of Springfield; her stepsons, Nathan of Round Rock and Matthew of Florida; her son Kenneth Eugene Simons Junior of Springfield; her grandson Malachai Sarak Simons of Texas; her nieces and nephews, Jake, Jamie and Josh; and also, Johnna (Steve), Danika, Amanda Lois Simons-Herring (T.) and T. W..

During the COVID crisis she and Kenn took boxes of food to people in need.
