Charles Brittain Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Brittain of Round Rock, Texas, born in Saybrook, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Brittain and Ruth Brittain; his daughter Terri K. Brittain; and his siblings, John Brittain and Joan Harrigan.

He is survived by: his wife Diane K. Brittain of Round Rock, TX; his daughter Penny Phelan (Kyle) of Round Rock, TX; his sister Betty Christianson of Saybrook, IL; and his siblings-in-law, John Quincy Adams (Mary) of Cedar Park, TX, Sherry Bice (Craig) of Victoria, TX and Patsy Garza (Tony) of College Station, TX. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home (14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1004 N Mays St, Round Rock, TX 78664).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
