He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Ludwig Schoener (Charlie) and Theresa Emilie Pircher Schoener; his wife Frankie Mae Pyle; and his nieces, Margie Robinson and Linda Hanley.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Mae Schoener and Carl Schoener III (Gigi); his grandsons, Randy Schoener (Megan) and Kevin Schoener (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Mallory, Lainey, Emerson and Kennedy; his stepgrandchildren, Garett and Holly Van Hoozer; his nieces, Gladys Volney, Carol Moore, Glenda Jansky and Sharon Naivar; his nephew Larry Hanley; and his siblings, Richard, Edna Pasemann, Elnora Smith (PeeWee) and Mildred Hanley. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
