He was predeceased by: his grandfather Gregorio Martinez Jr.; his great-grandparent Julian Aguilar; and his aunt Alicia Aguilar. He is survived by: his parents, Arturo Puentes and Rosa M. Puentes (Martinez); his grandmother Armandina "Momo" Martinez; his son Adrian Lewis Puentes Jr.; his siblings, Lucia Puentes and Alberto Noe Puentes (Lily Puentes); his nephew Gregorio Puentes; his niece Serena Puentes; his great-nephews, Julian and Santiago Puentes; and also Robert Moreno.
