She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William and Ora Lee Simmons (Loggins); her husband Allin Acker (Shorty); and her siblings, Bessie McAnelly, Billie Childress, Larue Simmons, Fran Haupt, Carl D. Simmons, Charles Simmons, Mac Simmons, John Simmons and Tommy Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Forrest Acker, Gary Acker (Annette), Dianna McKinney (Monte), Lisa Gomez (Robert) and Carol Boyd (Brad); her daughter-in-law Brenda Acker; her brother Leon Simmons; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Simmons, Peggy Simmons and Mary Grisham. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
