She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Ogden Gruben and Alvin Gruben; her son Joe Alan McCombs; her siblings, Melva Jones (Edgar), Glen Gruben (Billie), Georgie Upshaw (Therman) and Charlie Gruben; and her parents-in-law, Carol Ann Gruben, Ellen Gruben and Preston Upshaw.
She is survived by: her husband Billie Joe McCombs; her daughters, Lou Klepper (Frankie) of Harper, Kathy McCombs Smartt of Sweetwater and Tina Blair (Martin) of Mason; her granddaughters, Tiffany Klepper, Tara Guevara (John) and Paige Duarte (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Grayson Guevara, Dallas Duarte, Blair Duarte, Creagh and Cambell Smartt; her siblings, LaVerne Upshaw, Bobby Gruben and Wilber Gruben (Mary); and her parents-in-law, Ollie and Bertha McCombs. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
