It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Aumada of Rotan, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wells and Josie Wells; her husband Max Aumada (Jack Smallwood); her brothers, Russell, Jerry and Larry Wells; and her grandson Brandon Roa.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Jack Smallwood; her daughters, Debra Wright of Alvin, TX and Barbara Johnson of Hutchins, TX; her sister Mary Boughton (James Boughton) of Lavon, TX; and her grandchildren, Moriah Snargrass, Adrian Aumada and Kimberly Lemgruber. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
