It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel C. Yanez of Rotan, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Yanez (Cantu) and Eluterio Yanez; his daughter Penny Yanez Thomas; and his brother Felix S. Yanez. He is survived by: his wife America Yanez; his son Felix Yanez (Karen); his sister Patsy Perez (Lupe); his grandchildren, Stefanie, Shawn, Shane Thomas and Chloe Yanez; his great grandchildren, Alayna Marie, Brooklyn and Nylia Thomas; his siblings, Lydia Perez (Primo), Luther Yanez (Argentina), Jim Yanez (Susie), Emilio Yanez and Richard Yanez (Janie); and his stepmother Lydia Yanez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and good friend.
