He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clifton and Velmeta Meharg Clifton; his wife Judy Rushing; his daughter Cynthia Carver; his nephew Ronny Wayne Clifton, Jr.; and his brother Jerry Clifton.
He is survived by: his brother Ronny W. Clifton (Kathy) of Crowell; his son-in-law Dennis Carver; his grandchildren, Jordan (Tyler), Cyla and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Gracie and Maycie of Graford, Texas.; his brother-in-law Jimmy (Victoria Rushing) of Houston; and his nieces and nephews, Megan Clifton, Judy Brackett, Kim Gilbert, Tonya Hopper, Alexandra Rushing, Madison Rushing Logan, Terry Clifton and James Rushing.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (104 Marietta St, Crowell, TX 79227). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Crowell Cemetery or a charity of your choice in honor of Mike's memory.
