We bid farewell to Katharina Ahern of Ross, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Katharina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Titl and Johanna Titl (Czifersky); her husband Bernard Ahern; and her siblings, Maria Woyner, Kristina Budzinski, Helena Jones, Erich and Engelbert Titl.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ahern of Ross, Heidi Ann Marcum (Gregory) of Ross and Mary Ann Ahern of Ross; her grandchildren, Gregory Marcum Jr. (Jayme) and Christina Jimenez (Angel); and her siblings, Heidi Titl, Gertrude Holzapfel and Ludwig Titl. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691).
