As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vivian may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard McDonald and Eddie Mae Perry (Kathaleen Dale Thomas); her husband Jesse C. Edwards, Sr.; her daughter Jessica Dykes; her grandson Billy Sean Dykes, Jr.; and her siblings, Linda Hansbrough, Tommy L. Addison and Charles Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse C. Edwards, Jr. (Tnesha) and Kathaleen Edwards; her sister Jo Ann Hendricks; and her close friend Margaret West. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (523 N Parrish St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
