She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barnes and Juanita Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Blackwell; her son Richard Selvera (Charlotte); her grandsons, Hayden Selvera and Tyler Selvera; her son Christopher Selvera (Miranda); her grandchildren, Christopher Selvera Jr. (Evelyn), Michael Selvera and Thomas Selvera; her siblings, Phyllis Cameron and Jay Reed; and her nephews, Keith Cameron (Bobbie) and Shannon Cameron. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Kathy's honor to the Galveston or League City Animal Shelter.
