Gloria D. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria D. Smith of Rosharon, Texas, who passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Smith; her parents, T. Harper White and Frances Harper White; her brothers, Willie Harper and Otis Harper; her aunts, Eunice Scott, Otha Amboree, Johnnie Mae Haynes and Mildred Mathews; her nephew Kirk Harper; her niece Michelle Thomas; and her grandparents, John Henry and Susie Hadden.
She is survived by: her children, John K. Smith (Debra) of Las Vegas, NV and Kimberly D. Smith of Houston; her sisters, Carolyn Johnson (Charles, Sr.) of Freeport and Linda Allen of Freeport; her sister-in-law Elaine Hawkins of Houston; her nieces and nephews, Albert W. Hawkins (Tami), Sugarland, Sean Hawkins, Michael T. Allen, Charles R. Johnson, Jr., Michelle Allen-Johnston (Kevin) and Ginger Harper of Friendswood; and her close friends, Faye Hayes of Houston, Kathy Curtis of Houston, Olatha Leggett of Tampa, FL and Willie B. Davis of Missouri City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
