He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Dell Knipling Christian and Floyd H. Christian, Sr.; and his stepdaughter Teresa L. Herbert. He is survived by: his close friend Susan Mitchell; his son Corey Christian (Sandi) of Angleton; his grandchildren, Conner, Carson and Mallori; his daughter Courtney Christian (Dusty Hall) of Houston; his granddaughters, Ciara, Kayla and Casey; and his cousins, Richard Knipling (Rennie), Brian Knipling (Keely) and Charles Dickerson.
